Jaidev is a founding member of Capital One Growth Ventures and currently leads its efforts. Jaidev sees a big opportunity in the changing landscape of fintech, particularly in the role of data, security, and other technologies enabling the change.
Jaidev started his career in financial services and has held leadership roles across different companies including President of Citi Ventures, Investment Banking at Credit Suisse First Boston, and several roles at Capital One. In 2009, Jaidev started Bundle.com, a data-driven small business rating service that was acquired by Capital One.
Outside of work, Jaidev enjoys squash and golf (though he will admit that while he enjoys golf, it is not his forte!). He spends his time between New York and San Francisco.

Aman is a founding member of Capital One Growth Ventures and responsible for strategic investments, business development and new business incubation.
Aman works closely with the lines of business to drive growth and innovation for Capital One by investing in unique, strategically relevant financial technology companies. His current areas of focus include payments and commerce, big data and digital channels.
Prior to joining Capital One, Aman held senior financial services roles in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, where he advised financial services companies on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and structured finance.

As Chief Architect at In-Q-Tel he served as a thought leader and technology strategist to the most senior leaders at the US Intelligence Communities. Prior to In-Q-Tel, Jay has been a technologist and worked in various engineering roles in both large companies and startups.

Venkatesh is a Software Executive turned VC. He is a Partner at C1GV where he leads enterprise investing efforts with focus on Data, Cloud Infrastructure, Analytics, and Machine Intelligence. His investments include FaunaDB, Snowflake and Hazelcast.
Venkatesh comes to venture after 15+ years of experience as a Software Executive. He has been working onHadoop for over a decade. He led engineering teams that built data management and governance solutions.
Venkatesh has over 15 years of experience in software development and architecture, and has been working on Hadoop for nearly a decade. Previously, he worked at Hortonworks Inc., where he led a major Data Governance Initiative and oversaw the creation of Apache Falcon - a Data Management solution for Hadoop. Prior to Hortonworks Inc., he was at Yahoo!, where he led a team to design and implement the Hadoop data management platform.

Nathan joined Capital One Growth Ventures in 2015 in New York City, where he explores venture investments, incubation opportunities, and partnerships in the startup ecosystem. Nathan brings five years of experience working on early-stage ventures from both sides of the table. In a former life, he was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch.
Nathan’s prior experience includes investing, innovation, and strategy roles at Accion Venture Lab, Smart Design, Launch Collective, and Merrill Lynch.

Stewart Pond joined Capital One Growth Ventures in 2018 and is based in the San Francisco office. Stewart supports the investment team in executing new transactions and monitoring existing investments.
Stewart was previously an Associate at Hercules Capital focusing on growth capital investments across various technology verticals. He has also held investing roles at Medley Capital and Guggenheim Investments.
Stewart holds a B.S. in Finance from Wake Forest University. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
Outside of the office, Stewart enjoys getting outdoors for backpacking trips, surfing and golf.
Bill helps Growth Ventures’ portfolio companies succeed with Capital One. He fosters cooperation between Capital One’s businesses, tech groups and ventures team. Bill is also responsible for developing relationships and investment opportunities in the mid-Atlantic region.
Bill joined Capital One in 2013 as an Entrepreneur in Residence. For his main assignment, he led the product team that built and launched Capital One’s Spark Business® mobile and online banking apps. Outside of work, Bill organizes the DC Fintech meetup and is an advisor to fintech industry groups.
Before Capital One, Bill started two fintech companies that served Fortune 500 financial services companies. Earlier, Bill was a VP in JPMorgan Chase’s M&A Group in New York and London.

Adam is a founding Partner of Capital One Growth Ventures, joining in 2014 to launch the San Francisco office, where he leads investments in Security, HR Tech, Marketing Tech, and Consumer. With a focus on highly strategic investing, Adam works closely with lines of business within Capital One to develop digital roadmaps and subsequently think through build v. partner v. buy decisions
Before coming to Capital One, Adam led a number of technology investments, from seed to growth, at Menlo Ventures and Summit Partners. Outside of work, Adam loves all-things Boston Sports, backpacking, and running with his dog.

Steven joined Capital One Growth Ventures in 2017 in San Francisco. He comes from an operational background, having spent 6 years at Google and Google X, partnering with high-impact and high-growth startups built on top of Google’s enterprise platforms including Google Maps, GSuite, and Google Glass Enterprise Edition. In addition to experience in enterprise tech, he brings a passion for emerging technology trends like cryptocurrencies and distributed ledgers.
Steven’s prior experience includes working with startups on behalf of Google and Google X and product management at Blockstream.
Steven holds a B.A. in Science and Management from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
When he’s not working, Steven loves to be in the water. He played water polo in college, was an ocean lifeguard for the City of Newport Beach, and still surfs regularly.
Frances joined the Growth Ventures team in July 2018, taking on the role of Community Outreach Manager in the team’s San Francisco office. She organizes networking events and thought leadership meetings aimed at strengthening the team’s network of investors, entrepreneurs, and technology customers.
Frances has extensive experience in the finance industry in a support role in Investment Banking, Private Wealth Management, Venture Capital, Asset Management and Investor Services. In addition, Frances worked in the hospitality industry in Catering and as an Assistant In-Room Dining Manager coordinating hospitality events.
She earned her BA degree from San Francisco State University with a focus on Broadcast Communications.
Frances enjoys music and frequently attends concerts in the Bay Area.
Maggie has been a part of Capital One Growth Ventures since it began. She is responsible for managing a wide range of projects for the team, overseeing compliance and ensuring that projects run smoothly and on time. Maggie facilitates ongoing communication among team members and key stakeholders, coordinates engagements with partner groups, and maintains up-to-date information about portfolio companies.
Previously, Maggie managed HR at Bundle.com, a startup founded by Jaidev Shergill in 2009 and later acquired by Capital One. Prior to Bundle.com, she served as an HR Operations Manager at Citi.
Maggie earned her MBA in Finance from NYU's School of Business and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Kean University.
Maggie is interested in interior design. In her spare time, she loves to redecorate and design new spaces.
Ingrid has been part of the Capital One Growth Ventures team since 2016. While she began in an administrative support role for the C1GV partners in San Francisco, she recently transitioned to the New York office where she serves as the Community Outreach Manager for the East Coast. She is focused on building and strengthening the team’s network of entrepreneurs, investors, and technology customers by organizing networking events and thought leadership meetings.
Ingrid previously spent 8 years with Nestlé Nespresso. In addition to working as a retail manager in its New York, Chicago, and San Francisco locations, she traveled throughout the United States to train new managers and perform operational audits of Nespresso stores.
Ingrid received a B.A. from St. John’s University, with a focus on English and Creative Writing.
As a teenager, Ingrid developed a fervent interest in criminal psychology. She is an avid reader of detective novels and non-fiction works on historical crimes and criminal behavior.
